Part of my Ultimate Jem Project.

I actually had no plans to do another Ultimate Jem image until I got some of my commissions finished but after I saw that photo I HAD to draw it. I had already designed a tattoo for Kimber so =DavisJes's tattoo works for Stormer.

Hope you like it ^^

About this illustration though. I hate the background, it messed up my coloring too as I was completely uninspired by it. I thought about just doing a wall but decided to go ahead with this.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if Badass Stormer was the reason Pazazz was so nice in final episode....

Actually the reason everything changed all of a sudden in the final episode, as I understand it, is related to its sudden cancellation. Some sites claim it wasn't sudden, that the show had been having poor ratings but I believe the sites that claim that the dolls weren't selling that well anymore hold the real truth. It got replaced with Maxi Malibu or whatever that name was. So as it was the 80s they had to end it in a positive light with everyone being friends.

While the antagonism in the show was ridiculous (with attempted murder in more than one occasion) it wasn't a true 80s show with black and white good and evil but it had to end as such. Stormer's story was pretty well written and her relationship with Kimber after the deal went sour was hinted to still be on good terms, but never breaking the mold of Misfits are bad, Jem is good. If you look closely at the show, Jem/Jerrica is pretty much evil by 80s standards. She lies, deceives, cheats, flirts a lot and a bunch of other things that were frowned upon then. I have a lot of respect for the people behind the show and the fact that it had over 60 episodes, if I remember correctly, is an accomplishment very few shows have. I wish they had the "freedom" offered these days, and the ability to have great animators fita great story. I'm talking about Avatar: The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra. Both shows are so well written (one better than the other but still) I can't help but imagine a what if the 80s shows I used to love so much got that treatment. Instead of the lame animu Thundercats we had a cooperative effort and actually had a great show that didn't change so much from the original version. I hope they never touch Silverhawks. Ok I'm complaining a lot ^^;

Love this. The mood and intensity makes me think of Mass Effect for some reason. I liked my female Shepard in the game to have a lot of attitude, so that probably helped heehee :) I'm commander shephard, and this is my favorite Stormer on Deviantart. or the Internet. :)

Four player co-op missions in ME3 FTW. ^^
Demo will come out in Jan and will feature both parts (single player and multiplayer)

ME is so win :) Innnnteresting... co-oop... hope it's good :) Hmmm I guess my Shephard would be most like Eric Raymond >.< except I actually complete my evil schemes...! double >.< (just found out he did Harold's voice... wow- mutant w/ stick/plant growing in his head at the Hub (lol) and at Gecko, the F2 ghoul city)
I just started thinking... how cool would some of the Jem songs be .... in SPACE! lol. "It's only me and the music" "I've got my eye on you"... in a vacuum :) ;pp ( UH OH now I have the Lonely Island "Space Olympics" song stuck in my head ! haha) (I prefer the Misfits' attitude, but somehow Jem songs seem to go well with oblivion/wonder/fantasy... as they really seem to stimulate the imagination, esp. with those crazy psychedelic scenes w/ her riding a unicorn and such things... or is that just the drugs talking? :P
I could imagine the Misfits as Intergalactic Pirates somehow... :) (Heavy Metal/Interstella 5555) (wow I must have had too much sugar, or maybe this show is just such an inspiration heh :) But thinking about Space Pirate Misfits performing songs makes me think of Johnny Depp singing (Sweeney Todd songs) while dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow >.> epic.)

Now I also have to go back and check the parts w/ Starscream in it on my copy of Transfomers... Charlie Adler scares me :) in a good way. (That goes for Susan Blu also, love her as Stormer.) Hasbro really liked to use the same actors for their shows huh? makes sense, since they are quite good IMO. (Ok I promise to put down the bag of sugar now. maybe.)
