    Commissions Rules & FAQ

    Commissions details:


    I take commissions if you want your character or a created character art. The art usually starts at $10.00

    For both original characters and existing characters I ask that you give me enough references to work. I illustrate cheap but design is very expensive.

    On this note I require a priority on these references:
    [1] hair style
    [2] skin, eyes, hair etc color
    [3] body build if you think it's important to get the right proportions.


    Things I won't do:


    • Final Fantasy or KH (nothing about them except for FF7 Tifa)

    • Pokemon

    • Yaoi (male homosexual relationships)

    • Mechas (I don't hate them I just suck at drawing them)

    • Naked Lolis (Girls younger than 18 are a big NO if you want them naked)


    How does it work?


    1. You'll send me a message saying that you're interested in hiring me.

    2. On that message you'll add what you want (multiple, single character or character designs)

    3. After I get the message I'll let you know if I can do it and add you to the waiting list. I might also ask for some references if they were not given or not enough for me to work with.

    4. First I'll do a sketch of the composition and character for free (only applies to certain request, see the price guide journal entry for details). After you get it and you agree you'll send the payment through paypal. (extra sketches will cost)
    After everything is done DO NOT ask me to fix anything but minor things. If the change requires that I work more than necessary I will charge extra.


    GIFT ART RULES


    If you are buying a gift for a friend or someone special, keep in mind these if the character(s) is/are created by that someone and not you.

    1)You have the OK from the creator to make decisions.
    2)That you know enough about the characters to guide me through the creative process
    3)If neither of the two are possible and it isn't a surprise gift then your friend can talk directly to me through either gtalk or yahoo messenger.
    I don't do AIM, ICQ, IRC and my MSN accounts are private.



    Color Choices:


    1. cel shaded (cartoon/anime style colouring that uses 1 color for shading)
    2. soft shading (like most of my gallery pics here includes multiple colors being applied to create a sense of volume)
    3. comic style (black shadows and scratching techniques that are used in american super heroes comic books)

    You can also select manga style which uses tones for shading and textures. (B&W only for now)

    1. Sketchy shading
    2. no shading
    3. detailed shading

    CG Colors:


    I can also paint your linearts. Price will vary on the amount of detail and painting style. (cel shaded is cheaper than soft shading.)

    Regarding Notes. I would appreciate it if when you reply you do not delete the previous contents unless it is too long. That way I can keep your most recent note and delete the old ones without losing valuable info.

    2. I don't have Paypal, can I still get art from you?

    3. How long until my commission is done?
    I always try to finish the pic within 24 hours after the sketch has been approved and paid for. If it takes longer there might be other factors that have delayed my efforts. I'll contact you and probably send a progress image whenever that happens.

    4. I'm no longer on your waiting list, what happened?
    After two weeks or so from the moment I contacted you if you haven't given me the specifications of what you want, nor have tried to contact me I'll remove you. That doesn't mean you are banned, you can get in touch with me and I'll add you again if you want.

    5. Your list is quite big, can you tell me when you have a spot open?
    I have no limit to the list, the list is merely to reserve a spot in line. So if you want to commission me, then send a note and I'll add you to the list.

    6. Do you accept Amazon credits as payment?
    Only if you don't have paypal but want to cmmission me anyway. Personally I don't get too much stuff from amazon and we can't get electronics (they don't ship electronics to P.R. the damned bastards) which would help out so you know, try to avoid it.

    Meh... that's alot of limits on what you won't draw. Great prive, but no point in doing it if you won't draw the characters I like.

    It's sad that I can't do copyrighted characters. Oh well original characters are good too. I wanted to do a Parity Journal but NCSoft owns the rights even if it isn't exactly their character (just checked)

    OK apparently I can only have one journal at a time so I decided to go with Pulsar's as *Dangerman-1973 and I have come to an agreement plust it looks damn fine as a journal cover ^^.
